NIKE ROSHE RUN REVIEW

I feel like every guy needs a good pair of sneakers, or a bunch of them… I picked up these kicks at the Dubai mall while heading to an event there. I've had them for about a month now and wore them a couple of times and they're comfy as f***! Plus they're super easy to wear and you can pair them up with pretty much anything. These are definitely sneakers I'd recommend as they're cheap comfortable and suit almost any style.

Balmain SS15

Now that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are connected, they're taking over the world one ad at a time, and they're demanding that the fashion world take them seriously. Kim may have ''broken the internet'' once this year, but her and Kanye show no signs of giving up as 2014 comes to an end. Kim posted the pictures on her Instagram profile, confirming that she and Kanye were to be the face of Balmain's SS15 menswear campaign. Of course Olivier Rousteing, Balmain's creative director posted the same pictures a couple of minutes after the social media Queen. Rousteing, wanted to capture a moment of Love in this campaign and Kim and Kanye were the only way to go for him, being friends and style icons. In a statement, he said: ''This is more than a campaign, it expresses something beyond
".clothes, it is a celebration of love and friendship. This is a new statement for Balmain.

SOLE DXB

SOLE DXB is an annual festival that promotes urban culture in the region. It is a platform that showcases up and coming brands alongside well established and recognized brands such as Puma Diesel and Reebok. This year, the event took place on the 14th and 15th of November, at D3, Dubai Design District. Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the first day of the event. This event showcased an array of footwear and apparel brands but also hosted a basketball tournament between some of Dubai's best teams. It also featured panel discussions and workshops. So if you guys consider yourselves to be sneaker heads this event was THE place to be, because not only were some of the biggest sneaker collectors showcasing there treasures but there was also some pop up stores,
for us to let loose and spend our bills.

EN MODE KANYE WEST

Hey guys, so today I'm giving you some sort of Kanye West inspired outfit. Kanye West has always been an influential person in the fashion industry working with brands like Louis Vuitton and Nike and I appreciate him for that (but also because he married Kim Kardashian). If you know my style by now you'd notice that this outfit doesn't necessarily reflect my character and my vogue, but for the past couple of weeks I wanted to mix it up a bit and show something new. So here it is, hope you like it! Send me an e-mail to tell me what you think! sarkisjoe@hotmail.com

FFWD SEASON 4: DAY 1

Hey guys, it's that time of the year again, where I got to see some of the regions biggest up and coming brands fashion shows. On the first day of Fashion Forward’s fourth season in Dubai, I witnessed an array of very interesting collections, but although I wasn't able to go to all the shows due to other priorities, I can assure you that the ones I did attend were simply mind boggling.

The first one I went to was The Emperor 1688's spring summer show, which is the show I always look forward to the most during fashion week. This season, the Golkar brothers, as always, took my breath away by presenting a beautiful collection that redefines simplicity. Of course, all their garments are some of the best work I've seen so far, regarding craftsmanship.

How gorgeous are these handmade alligator baseball caps?

The next show by Jean Louis Sabaji presented a series of very artistic designs. The Lebanese designer's signature style was all over these pieces, using different fabrics and techniques to make his garments. The collection's cohesion and inspiration were visible throughout the entire show. It was concentrated on birds, their plumage and the skin beneath all the feathers.

Love this dress!

The last show I got to see was Michael Cinco's ''Impalpable dream of spring bloom'', where the Filipino Dubai based fashion designer showcased his dream like couture gowns in a mix of pastels. The beautiful pieces were all paired up with well tailored matching suits.

It's his flare for form and fabric that made him one of the most successful and sought-after names in the region.
