Located at the heart of the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi,
Caramel Restaurant & Lounge brings luxury and opulence to anyone who enters
their space. Caramel offers an exceptional environment and generates a welcoming
ambiance and a relaxing atmosphere that offers drinking, dining and
entertainment at one centrally located hot spot.
On the 30th of May I had the honor of being invited to a bloggers lunch that
was filled with laughs and a great crowd. As soon as we sat at the table we
were offered a variety of fresh juices to cool us off. Lunch then started with
one platter coming after the other, and let me tell you each one was better
than the other. We were served appetizers, main courses and desserts. All
platters were completely different presenting a combination of flavors to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. My favorite dishes were the chicken lettuce bites (accompanied
with a tasty sauce), and of course the sizzling hot rock (thin sliced beef accompanied
by a hot rock to cook the meat yourself!). We then decided to end our beautiful
day on a sweet note. So there come the desserts, accompanied by tea and coffee,
and since I have a sweet tooth I tasted everything! The staff there was also very
well trained, polite and knowledgeable about the food and that enabled me to
enjoy the overall experience!
